On the 10th of July 2016 we kicked off our first event, Graffiti Art Workshop to mark the opening of our art stay to the public. We were a little worried about how it would go, but the response from you guys was so amazing that any doubts were erased from our minds.

We started the workshop with an ideation activity where our participants took a walk down memory lane, our theme was childhood and the variety of ideas that we got from this diverse age group was an experience in itself. From the ones who lived through the 60’s to the ones who’re still going through their childhood, the ideas on the wall made a brilliant amalgamation of childhood memories.

By the end of the ideation activity, everyone was dying to get their hands dirty and leave their mark on the art stay’s walls. There was quick scrambling for the perfect spots and everyone shed their fears of “can’t”. Have you ever seen the smile on a child's face when he’s running around the house drawing on the walls? That smile was there on every face and the best part about reliving that childhood memory was that mom wasn’t going to scold you at the end of it.

The budding artists retired for lunch, which was homemade with organic ingredients grown at the stay’s orchards. After replenishing their energy levels they got back to their art pieces to give it final touches before enjoying the homemade vanilla cake, Atul’s favourite signature dish.

Hosting this workshop was as much of an experience for us as for you guys. The creativity of a person is reflected by Art Graffiti Pictures. Now one can see a wall full of varied perceptions of one’s childhood that brightens up our art stay. We ended the workshop on a colourful note and we hope to have the pleasure of hosting you folks again soon! Stay tuned to our page on Facebook for upcoming events, we wouldn’t want you to miss out on them!
